Dads Need Friends ("we", "us") runs dadsneedfriends.com and the Dads Need Friends Discord community. This page explains what information we collect when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose. What we collect
Information you give us. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. If you contact us by email or through a form on this site, we receive whatever you choose to send us, such as your name, email address and message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information about each visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site running and secure. We do not run advertising trackers or sell this data.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter you asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To operate, protect and improve the website.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Email newsletter
Our newsletter signup is handled by Klaviyo, an email service provider. When you subscribe, your email address is stored with Klaviyo so we can send you the letter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by emailing us. Klaviyo's privacy policy is at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.
Affiliate links and Sovrn Commerce
Some links on this site are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy something after clicking them, at no extra cost to you. Our affiliate links are managed through Sovrn Commerce. When you click an affiliate link, Sovrn and the merchant may set cookies or use similar technology to record that the visit came from our site so that a commission can be credited. We do not receive your personal or payment details from those purchases.

This site and community are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@dadsneedfriends.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in a region with specific privacy laws (such as the EU, UK or California), you have those rights under the applicable law and we will honor them.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. We keep the information we hold to a minimum and store it only with the providers named above. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
